Adopt a Tiger
The past 100 years have seen tigers disappear from much of their former range. Tigers are threatened by the exotic pet trade and other forms of captivity, illegal wildlife trafficking, poaching and hunting, and loss of habitat and prey. Wild tigers have been brought to the brink of extinction, with fewer then 4,000 remaining in the wild. More tigers now live as pets in the U.S. – roughly 5,000 – than exist in the wild globally.
