Bears are both beloved and feared throughout the world. Conflict between bears and humans often occurs due to human development or presence encroaching on bears' natural habitat, and humans are the number one predator of bears. As a result of these and other threats, all but two species of bears are considered Vulnerable by the IUCN. We nust learn how to peacefully share our world with bears before it is too late.
